    Good pay (in my area anyways), good benefits for full time employees, good available hours

    Cons

    My store had some funky management choices now and then, otherwise no real cons.

    Be consistent with your employees across the board

    Decent hours and breaks every 2 hours

    Cons

    Managers always promise something but never withstand in pursuing. Don't care about your health

    Advice to Management

    If you going to promise something then it if not don't say anything at all.

    local level doesn't always follow company directives, advancement base on who you know, and what have you done lately.

    Listen to your associates, they are the backbone of your organization, re-institute company culture

    Easily Navigate and understand duties, not very physically demanding, other than standing.

    Cons

    Run out of work to do so shifts would last forever.

    More light stocking/ organizing duties for cashiers slow times.

    Not many, free hot chocolate?

    Cons

    Over worked and understaffed on purpose.
    They want me to do a whole supercenter parking lot by myself for 7-12 hours in high heat.
    No way.

    Advice to Management

    You know what you need to do.
    Many managers on the clock watching other associates work while the store suffers.
    Watching others work is not a real job.
    Walmart at my work is sexist and gives females the cushy easy jobs and men the crappy hard jobs.

    Great pay and bonus opportunities amazing benefits an paid time off.

    Cons

    The work/home life balance is difficult at times but that is how retail works for the most part

    Dont let the little things get to you. Pick your battles wisely not everything has to be a challenge!

    The pay raise for the summer was great and I loved my co-workers.

    Cons

    The customers usually make the job a lot more stressful. Some members of management are lazy and make you do their job. Management should lead by example, not slack off.

    Stop being lazy and making the associates do your job. Lead by example.

    Lots of variety to choose from. U can find anything you like. I like a lot of things here. Walmart is also a very cool name.

    Cons

    Big store lots of walking. Wear comfy shoes cause you will spend a lot of time walking around and buying lots of coo thing from this cool cool store.

    Low stress, generally friendly co-workers

    Cons

    Hard to find time to communicate with management, awkward hours, some managers are not friendly, little to no advancement opportunities

    Advice to Management

    A friendly manager makes a world of difference. It took weeks before some managers would even acknowledge me passing by. Thankfully, my manager was amazing, but even then it was quite difficult to find time to have a conversation with them.
