I have been working at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Other cashiers are fairly friendly. A lot of the management is pretty nice too. The pay is also decent. It could be better of course but overall its not that bad.

    Cons

The scheduling could be much better and some of the management is annoying but this is really a specific store type problem. Over all its really not that bad.

    Pros

The people on all levels associates and management are all great to work with and for.

    Cons

The pay is not at a level you would expect considering the size of the company and what other companies of a similar business type offer for pay compensation.

    Advice to Management

Don't talk down to your employees some of them are only doing the job because they need to not because they want to. And management comes and goes all the time. Some of the associates you have working for you are more than capable of their jobs and have been doing their job longer than you have in most cases. The associates are all human beings and should not be treated as a piece of property.
