I worked at Walmart (Less than a year)

    Pros

Its a job. You can grab groceries before you go home. Usually pay a dollar above minimum wage to excite the associates who probably made min wage often.

    Cons

Its depressing. Old people been there for years and think their $1 raises mean something. Morning meetings by managers to hold associates who are broke accountable for the sales the managers need to hit.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the people were nice.

    Cons

To much upper management. No one listens to problems or issues that should be taken care of. A lot of backstabbing. No one tries to help, always putting the blame on someone else.

    Advice to Management

They need to learn to respect customers and the people working there. Maybe than they wouldn't have such a large turnover of employees.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Management is well compensated despite the long hours and demanding bosses

    Cons

The gap between what managers make and hourly associates make is excessive and almost ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Follow the 3 Basics Beliefs, don't just spout them. Respect for the Individual does not just mean respect for your boss, it should include the people that work for you.
