    Pros

Good brand, very good values and senior management promote it as a family environment. Some good middle managers and workers. Diversity in work.

    Advice to Management

Good work ethics should be promoted, more professionalism, more integrity, honesty and respect for others, team-players are needed rather than individuals in teams not interested who are prepared to step on others to promote themselves, taking other's credit, a faster pace of work, the great company values should be adhered to improve the culture to retain good knowledge workers.

I worked at Walt Disney Company as an intern

    Pros

This role was very diverse, the team are great fun and encouraged me to get involved in many activities in the company.

The direction of the company is inspiring, working with brands such as Marvel, Pixar ect is great.

    Cons

The pay needed to be increased, apparently the pay is now £18000

    Canteen is overpriced.

    Pros

Amazing brands and products. Really good learnings and exposure and an invaluable asset for your CV.
    Great colleagues to work with.
Good health and dental insurance, Disney store discount and free Disney Parks access.

    Cons

Pretty poor company culture with junior employees overworked, under-payed, frustrated and with incredibly slow/almost impossible career progression.
Overall treats employees pretty poorly; in my 2+ years within the company I have never been offered a team lunch, and we even had to fund our own Christmas dinner/party, which it's unbelievable considering the strength and consistent success of the company over the years.
Pretty political and hierarchical management structure.

    Advice to Management

Strongly improve company culture, employees treatment, build a decent employee career progression plan.

I worked at Walt Disney Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great projects to be a part of, free training courses regularly offered in a range of fields.

    Cons

People tend to "sit" in their roles, meaning many people join when their young and refuse to leave such a reputable brand.
This leads to many employees who have been at Disney for many years feeling they are superior to other employees despite their lack of industry experience due to only working for one company in their career. In my experience this has caused problems for Disney's growth and approach to projects.
Office politics is high. Be careful what you say at all times, especially on email.

    Advice to Management

Communication between teams and making sure people are right for the job based on their skillset. Long term employees are not necessarily the best for the jobs, especially in modern fields such as digital.
