I have been working at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Relatively young team with many having a lot of impact
    - High potential to ship and evolve games with WB, DC (soon possibly AT&T) in coming years
    - Open to new AAA game sales structures, VR, and potentially other tech and game areas
    - Strong partnership and increasingly good relation with most other WB game developers
    - Potential to create WB/DC flagship titles
    - Team is strong in both tech and design
    - Good social and employee programs
    - Mostly experienced, good managers in a relatively flat structure

    Cons

    - Company had to re-boot and cancel a lot around end of 2016 although this means new tech and refreshing new opportunities
    - Studio still needs to ship its own first big title (still it is on the way there)

    Advice to Management

    - Encourage team and inter-departmental communication even more than at present
    - To support retention and career have a deeper look into employee potential and trainings and/or know-how exchange with teams and Studios in employees main areas of Expertise and weak areas

    Pros

Great benefits package. Advancement more skills related than friends related.

    Cons

As trouble shipping games and small bonus.

I have been working at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Stable, good benefits, decent perks, working on some of the biggest brands, and a fair amount of autonomy. It's the most exciting group at WB

    Cons

Political, slow moving and not progressive, not a lot of growth opportunities, people are undervalued, and uninspiring leadership. Not a division that's prioritized.

    Advice to Management

Leadership could be a lot more inspiring and look to find ways to be more in touch with the rest of the division.

Can be a bit of a bureaucracy and the company can be slow moving when it comes to change/improvements.

    Advice to Management

Relax. We're not curing cancer! :)

    Pros

It's a really great place to work, friendly environment where the people like to share their experiences and knowledges. Have really Nice happy hour too !

    Cons

Sometime we don't understand all their decisions.
Sometimes we don't understand why it's so long to take a decision but overall their is a good transparency.

I have been working at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, not micromanaged, casual but professional atmosphere.

    Cons

Like all game companies, nepotism and favortism run rampant. Watched more than one "love interest" get promoted with seemingly lower qualifications than other canidates.

    Advice to Management

Meh. No one listens to testers.

  10. "Intelligent and hardworking staff working on high profile IP"

I have been working at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Very capable and intelligent staff, these people know what they are doing
    - Management understands games business and are well respected
    - Great IP, DC Entertainment, Lord Of the Rings/Hobbit, Harry Potter, and Lego properties to work with, just to name a few
    - Very stable for a game company: Fewer layoffs and restructuring compared to direct competitors such as Disney Interactive

    Cons

    - Due to the larger company size, upward mobility may take longer than smaller studios but in my personal situation, I was able to move quickly due to a vacancy
    - Sometimes too process driven and a lot of red tape, needs to be more agile in order to maintain competitive edge
    - Limited or lack of original IP from games, most games are based on existing IP, they need to start expanding their business and allow for internal creative development

    Advice to Management

    - Continue growth for the business but also don't be afraid to think outside the box - let's get WBIE in the top 10 publishers list
