I worked at Warner Music Group

    Pros

Great contacts, real hands-on experience, artists always around the office, guest speaker panels are extremely motivating, everyone is very friendly and helpful, nice office, easy parking, never really felt like an "intern" more like an employee who was equally treated

    Cons

    - No pay really adds up and program requires 3 days a week - My supervisor was never in so I didn't get the full chance of having a mentor. However, I did what I could to network around the place. YOU need to engage in conversation with others. - Don't expect to walk in here and have everything handed to you. If you want work, ask for it or else you'll just be doing research all day rather than be really involved in projects - Not many concert opportunities during Fall, so intern in Spring

I worked at Warner Music Group

    Pros

Relaxed environment, positive role models, and a great opportunity to network. The internship is hands on, they offer resume workshops, intern mixers and set up speakers to interact with interns. They hire interns often.

    Cons

The pay is low once hired and internship is credit only no pay. Not even for travel.

I worked at Warner Music Group for less than a year

    Pros

Great staff. The environment and the employees make it feel like a second home. Many of the employees are down to earth and love to have a great laugh even in the middle of executing business. People try to make you feel comfortable and are usually available for questions. Try to take advantage of the people you come across.

    Cons

There are a few employees who aren't the best to work for. Sometimes supervisors can take their stress out on you if you are they can't handle pressure. No pay as an intern.

I worked at Warner Music Group for less than a year

    Pros

You're interning at the top of the industry and are able to learn whatever you want if you put the effort in. You will get out of the experience as much as you put into it. Great culture.

    Cons

No pay, but not a bad thing at all considering the experience and networking opportunities you are gaining. It's the music industry, so no pay for interns should be expected.
