    Pros

Cutting-edge digital media innovator; a chairman deeply concerned and passionate about taking care of artists, employees and the future of the music business; smart and funny culture that prizes creative thinking and is hungry for good ideas, wherever they're from. Good benefits, good pay - what's not to like?

    Cons

It's both good and bad: the industry as a whole is in crisis stemming from piracy. That means everyone's nervous about where things are headed, but it also means there's an excitement about making the digital transition real.

    Advice to Management

For the most part, just keep your head down and don't look at the stock price - it's all working (slowly!), so keep faith in the process. One bit of constructive criticism: go even further in trying to cultivate business models that work for all participants. Our competitors seem interested only in squeezing businesses for maximum cash; we're not like that, but we could be even better.

    Pros

    Looks great on resume
Everyone is cool, friendly, and mostly competent and care about their line of work
As an intern, great learning experience in a dynamic environment

    Cons

Music industry as a whole sucks right now, so it's not like your chances of a job after the internship are that much greater

    Advice to Management

Seriously consider your interns for future employment. They are a great pipeline that have served for credit only, anywhere from 4 to 8 months. They know the company's ins and outs already.

    Pros

Great people, great atmosphere, good culture

    Cons

Outsourced too many services and lost focus

    Advice to Management

Outsourcing is not the answer to long term issues

I have been working at Warner Music full-time

    Pros

Smart people, very advanced/progressive, FUN! At least if you work in the new IT group.

    Cons

Hampered by old systems and old ways of doing business, this is probably the biggest problem.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the old school company people fast, it is killing the company.

Company values aligned with mine and the people were great to work with. Totally recommend working here in the future.

    Cons

Honestly all of the challenges of working here were healthy challenges and welcomed improvements. Though I do love a good challenge.

I have been working at Warner Music part-time

    Pros

-Great management. I have never met my bosses, but they genuinely care and appreciate hard work when it really shows. Having bosses that are encouraging and helpful makes the job a lot easier.
-Great connections. I have only been with the company for 6 months, but I have already made so many connections both inside and outside of the company.
-Great room for growth. My boss had this position before she moved to New York and took her current job. Several other higher-ups have had this position in the past, so there is obviously a lot of room for growth and more opportunities with this company and with this position.

    Cons

-I feel like the work the hard work that I am putting in is worth more than minimum wage, but I would do it without compensation if it meant that I was still offered all of the amazing opportunities that this company has to provide.

    Advice to Management

Keep the College Marketing Rep program funding. There is so much potential in my department, and I know that all of us want to continue to grow and understand this industry, so that we can continue to grow and climb the ladder within this incredible company.
