Pros
Great benefits Great 401k 4x10 work week is amazing Jeans and a polo are acceptable work attire
Cons
Incredibly hostile work environment Extreme Nepotism is the norm in hiring/promoting practices Chances are you'll have work piled on you last minute and aggressively asked why it isn't completed yet Incredibly unprofessional personnel ranging from excessive profanity at meetings and directed towards coworkers as well as racial slurs and sexist comments

Pros
Great 9 Hr per day work schedule allows for every other Friday off. Good benefits. Excellent paid time off.
Cons
Only employees making good money are Union workers. Most get paid $75K plus while having very little responsibility. Those in charge, like myself non-union make about $65K if you are lucky and have most of work assignment. Management always looking for people to blame for errors. They don't value employees at all. Non-union workers are expendable. Union workers can't be touched and get away with everything. Extreme nepotism. Most union workers don't meet minimum qualification for the job they are hired to do. They are all sons and daughters of managers or best friend. Those with strong resume almost never will get jobs here unless they are best friends with hiring personnel.

Pros
Great benefits package 401k match and medical.
Cons
Standard Hanford nepotism by the good ole boys program.

Pros
Excellent company to work for at the Hanford site. The work is challenging, pay is excellent, convenient 4-10 schedule, and outstanding 401k match with excellent, low deductible health care coverage. The company truly seems to care about its employees.
Cons
Government inefficiency & environmental overregulation can interfere with the progress of the work scope. Too much of an us versus them mentality between the union HAMTC workers and the corporation. Longevity of the site can lead to a bit of a good ol' boys mentality and/or nepotism when filling positions.
