The buildings in Richland, WA that were being leased were fairly new. Janitors kept up with the place, and was generally a clean place to work in; and I appreciated that. Minus the restrooms that were always breaking down, and odor was disgusting and would spread throughout the offices (embarrassing) because the ventilation was never fixed...wtf?
Cons
The pay is average. The staff are all grandfathered in. The staff is set in there ways and not opened to listening to new ideas. Toe the line or the staff and management will become passive-aggressive and eventually make you quit on your own. Managers, coworkers, and Human Resource representatives will make the work environment hostile thru tactics such as: passive-aggressive behavior, isolating you from other projects, spreading negative rumors about your reputation among the company, etc. From experience, this is not a productive work environment for minorities or people of color. Also, if you're a young intellectual and are determined to help society thru innovation and creativity; and you're primary goal is to propel mankind forward thru invention, then this is NOT the place for you. There is very little room to innovate, not much to learn from the staff other than "tribal knowledge" even tho some of those ideas can be wrong. This company's primary focus is to maintain and prolong the maintenance activities that are in place which is what primarily funds the company.
