    Advice to Management

Management is very well aware of the issues and complaints of staff. They are improving things already. So my only advice is to please continue to make improvements. It's almost the perfect job. This place is a great fit for many experienced, workaholic, professionals without a personal life.

I have been working at Watershed Treatment full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Growth opportunities; Personal development; Challenging; Never a dull moment

    Cons

That no matter how much you care and how much you want people to get well...you can't "make" everyone want it (It's that way in any treatment)

    Advice to Management

As a manager I will share the advise I've been given over the years by some really great mentors: (1)Realize that every single person who works for you did NOT end up with you by accident; (2)Freely give to your employees the wisdom and suggestions that were given to you; (3) Recognize that it is never JUST that one employee...but your impact on their career life will impact ALL the lives that affect in years to come

    Pros

I mean lets be honest its a job and you get paid.

    Cons

Management didn't care about their employees, horrible turn around with a bath of new techs coming in every other week. You get burned out really fast.

    Advice to Management

Have some compassion for not only your patients but also your employees.

I have been working at Watershed Treatment full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Amazing coworkers, boss, and job. I love the fact that I get to go to work each day knowing that we are helping others live a life in recovery. The staff here is passionate, professional, loving, and dedicated to providing patients and their family with excellent care.

    Cons

I've worked for this company for six years and literally have no complaints. We work in this field because we have a true desire to help those in need recover.

    Advice to Management

I am grateful to be able to work for a company who cares about our patients and employees. Only advice I have for management is keep doing what your doing motivating.

    Pros

Good friendly, professional atmosphere, challenging but there was always help available when necessary. The Christmas bounses and Christmas parties were always an event to look forward to. I also enjoyed the PTO very much.

    Cons

The health insurance was too expensive for spouses or family members. The behavior personal and security patrol (I felt)were a little underpaid.

    Advice to Management

I believe that in general the corporate leadership is competent. The middle management communicates fairly well with the working management and there team of workers. In all fairness I do not know why the Watershed could not sufficiently recruite patients it might have been problems with insurance companies, but I don't know what was the change that patients stopped coming to the Watershed.

I worked at Watershed Treatment (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Health benefits. Meeting new people.

    Cons

Too much gossip. You are not valued or appreciated. My boss had spies checking on you at all times. Not much room for advancement. Managers have favorites and let them do whatever they want.

    Advice to Management

Wake up executives and HR and see what is really going on in your company. You need better management and leaders.
