I worked at Waterstons full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunity for challenge. Rapid progression to larger and larger projects. Ability to work with muliple customers across multiple sectors. A fantastic culture of collaboartion and a brilliant feeling of being in a family.

    Cons

In a small business resourcing (i.e. having the right amount of work to do every month) was often tricky. In a small IT consultancy you are expected to be both a specialist and a generalist. Booking holiday was hard work and usually led to taking less than 5 weeks holiday each year.
