    Pros

Good work coming in. Always exciting projects going ahead

I worked at Wates Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some ok colleagues anc nice office

    Cons

Very macho environment and these guys laugh and pat each other on the back constantly across the open plan office. Like a frat party for male builders! Many people there have worked together for decades and very little information is given to help a new person navigate the system. Its impossible for a newbie to get accepted. I got left out of important conversations and decisions made behind closed doors. No... standardisation with each team doing things totally differently from another. I was glad to leave.

Provide proper inductions and employ more minorities and women to balance the old boy vibe.
