I worked at Watkinson School (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is truly a family atmosphere with students helping students, and teachers helping students. A very welcoming place!

    Cons

There really are no "cons" for working here!

  2. "Great student & faculty, strange decisions for the sake of money."

I worked at Watkinson School full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Students, coworkers were wonderful to work with. Administrators were, for the most part, supportive of the teachers. Parents were wonderful as well.

    Cons

Salary was low compared to other schools; healthcare and other benefits cost too much since the school is a small employer; decisions seemed to be made based on money rather than the best interests of the students.

    Advice to Management

Have faculty included in discussions about policy and benefits. It might help with the morale among the teachers.
