    Pros

Pros: Great leadership, consistent, works to involve the ideas of all stakeholders. One of their principles is employee engagement.

    Cons

Sometimes the involvement of all stakeholders can delay the process, causes lots of meetings, but it is getting better. Beautiful campus, fiscally responsible (one of the few colleges not struggling in IL) and a solid job.

    Pros

Benefits are good and the campus facilities are up dated to stay current with technology needs.

    Cons

They lacks a culture of promoting current staff who are often overlooked for internal promotions even when they are qualified.

    Advice to Management

Value the talent of current staff and create a positive culture that considers staff for lateral changes and promotions.

Very friendly and supportive colleagues and management
    Work life balance is excellent
Vacation policy and benefits are better than most.

    Pros

Staff and faculty are passionate about student learning. Salaries are fair.

Very competitive atmosphere among administrators. Culuture is about appearances and micromanagement. Can be an emasculating environment at times.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to outshine each other or make another administrator look bad. Also stop worrying about superficial appearances in front of the college president and learn to work as a team.
