I have been working at Wawa part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The managers treat you like equals. Everything is laid out step by step so its almost impossible to mess up. The employees actually feel appreciated in their positions and it really shows in the customer service. The crew feels like a family. They have "Fun Days" where the whole crew will decide on an activity (bowling, the beach, mini golf, etc.) and take the day off and go together. It really helps everyone to bond with each other and reaffirms that feeling of family. I've never been more in love with my job.

    Cons

I honestly cannot think of a single downside in working for Wawa.

    Advice to Management

Keep making sure your employees feel appreciated and part of the team.

I have been working at Wawa part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

almost always get enough hours, better pay than most places, opportunity to grow in company, usually will let you choose between morning/evening/overnight shift

    Cons

miserable place to work at. the pay is high but not high enough for the bs that the job puts you through. management does not care about your personal life at all, you get screamed at for calling out even once. will work you til midnight one day and have you come back at 7 am the next. literally just a miserable place to be especially with how busy it gets and management VERY rarely is helpful

    Advice to Management

care a little more about your employees

I worked at Wawa part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great store management, paid well, great benefits for full time employees, super flexible schedules, benefits/pay portal, wawa stocks, discounts while on the clock

    Cons

Shift managers tend to be cocky as they work their way up to store management. Wawa is an overall good company to work for but given that it is a customer service job, your day at work depends highly on the area your store is in.
