I have been working at Wawa full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Internal stock. If you work full time, you can retire with millions. Growing company with a lot of potential.

    Cons

Work/life balance. There's a recent push for self accountability, but in my experience here, that means you take the responsibility, without any of the positive credit, and any attempt to address a concern is viewed as making excuses.

    Advice to Management

Search for more internal talent. Promotions boost morale more than an external hire. People will work up to their potential if there is evidence that they will move up, rather than empty promises. Some of the store/area managers are too closely knit. If one had a bad view of someone, that can ruin a career and disengage someone in a crucial leadership role.
