I have been working at Wawa full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, bonus structure is awesome, 4% 401k match, stock ownership plan, laid back culture with good people.

    Cons

Not enough mid level positions for lower level employees to move in to and the yearly appraisal process is ineffective and an annoyance.

    Pros

Wonderful work environment and coworkers, the values of the company are very prominent and the benefits are pretty great other than the fact that you can be fired for buying discounted food and taking it home.

    Cons

It is incredible how much food is thrown away constantly. Wawa has to throw away the heated food after four hours and pounds of food are normally wasted per shift. The only consolation is that they have begun freezing the sizzli's and donating them.

    Advice to Management

I suggest a semi static scheduling system where the employees are able to leave on time and not wait too long for the arrivals of other employees

I have been working at Wawa full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Takes care of its employees. You get out of it what you put into it! I would tell anyone to apply!

    Cons

Very demanding, lots of responsibility. Depending on store, management can be hard to work with sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Do more things for the associates, communicate better. Reward them for hard work! They try their best, let them know you notice!
