I have been working at Wawa full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

great salary, benefits, and financial retirement incentives

    Cons

logistics of managing 24 hour operation with high customer traffic can prove to a test of endurance, patience, and is very stressful

    Advice to Management

find more balance between lean staffing and profitability; experienced myriad associates becoming worn down, ineffective, and hostile due to lean staffing conditions unbalanced with workplace demand

I have been working at Wawa (More than 3 years)

    Pros

amazing associates, teamwork, 3rd shift, 40 hour weeks, can request off whenever, paid time off after a year

    Cons

they say you will get tuition reimbursements but that is after one year of work full time and if you get state grants Wawa will deny you the reimbursement.

    Advice to Management

Be sure you want to do it. They expect you to snitch on other associates to move up. Attendance can make or break you moving up.

I worked at Wawa full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work. Unfortunately I had to leave due to benefits misunderstanding. I thought I had an agreement with the Store Manager to return in 2017. However, I was inform to continue to follow up because hours ere cut back, and there wasn't any availability. My goal was to use my retail experience and prove that I would be able to manage a store or ve an integral part of a management team running a store. I hopingbto heat soon that availability has opened doors.

    Cons

Anyone who is assigned to back up the manager during their absence should not be anyone who is to chummy with co-workers. Productivity simply suffers. Please note that the issue mentioned was apparently being corrected.?

    Advice to Management

Use experience resources to assess their view of present situations in order to ge an outsiders view on what they see and recommend ideas and thoughts that would benefit the store and company overall.
