    Pros

Nothing good to say about it

    Cons

Everything, they treat horribly their employees, never pay on time, software and tools like from the 1920's i would never recommend anyone to work for this company

    Advice to Management

Better get professional people for the key rolls otherwise this company is going to bankruptcy sooner than later

    I worked at Weatherford full-time

    Pros

Good environment, Safety conscious. Coworkers were good to work with

    Cons

No job security. Upper management did not understand what was happening at a tactical level, often committed to customers what could not be delivered..

I have been working at Weatherford full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Laid back position, good job security since company is so behind, most people are pretty nice, decent pay. ability to work around other areas and gain experience.

    Cons

management does not do a good job enforcing lab ettiquette or making sure people stay their full 40. employees that give 25% are given the same amount of praise of those that give 100%, not much incentive to continue working. not starting off on day shift is a personal con for me, maybe not for everyone.

    Advice to Management

management does not do a good job enforcing lab ettiquette or making sure people stay their full 40. employees that give 25% are given the same amount of praise of those that give 100%, not much incentive to continue working. don't tell employees they'll be promoted to first shift within a year if that is not the case.

I have been working at Weatherford full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fairly well structured. Employees are provided with freedom to think outside the box and come up with solutions to problems.

    Cons

Unstable. There is a lot of uncertainty from within the groups as to how long the company will be able to keep afloat.

I have been working at Weatherford full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Decent pay (if you can keep your job)
If you are exec level they seem to be hiring a lot.

    Cons

Morale is LOW. Multiple layoffs per year for 5 years. Only people left are looking for job or have made their choice to sink with the boat. Anyone left with a job that could be off-shored will be next.

    Advice to Management

Try some honesty with employees. Silence is the norm but even worse is the BS upbeat exec-speak followed by more layoffs and benefit reductions. I would guess that anyone NOT suffering from low morale is likely a cause of the low morale.
