Pros
I feel trusted and valued at WIS. People are absolutely amazing and I love how open the communication is with the management. One actually feels heard and opinions/ideas are highly appreciated and brought on board if they are reasonable. The perks and benefits are top-notch and nothing close is offered by most companies in Malta. I would highly recommend this company.
Cons
I am enjoying myself no complaints so far!

Pros
- Nice and decent office in the middle of San Giljan - Really cool and good people are working here (real team atmosphere) - Good work-life-balance - Fair and competetive salary - Lot's of different products and topics in the online gambling, esports, betting, finance and other industries. You can really learn and improve. - A good mixture of both, a multi-cultural team and boys and girls - Successful business even though it was started over 12 years ago - Some really experienced colleagues you can learn from and improve yourself a lot!
Cons
- Due to the small team there is hardly a lot of possibilities to climb into higher positions. But this is normally compensated through a better salary if you improve and show that you are worth it

Pros
I love the way the office feels like a second home, and there is a very good community atmosphere, with people being very friendly. The benefits are superior to most other iGaming companies: we have snacks (including healthy, vegan etc) all day, and really good lunches. I appreciate our Friday education sessions too as they give me a chance to continue learning. A flat hierarchy is also cool because I do get the feeling that management listens to suggestions. I've been here for almost 2 months and I've already learnt a lot on the job so I hope to grow here.
Cons
Driving to Sliema in traffic.

Pros
Interesting work, nice and friendly colleagues, a company culture which makes sense. Now after the move (Paceville to Sliema) also an even better location. Motivated people can literally make it from zero to hero here. Flat hierarchy, everybody is approachable. Good efforts and no “money-making attitude” (many things were done to reduce the carbon footprint, the company is environmental-friendly). WIS is also very agile and does changes, it`s not a corporate, inflexible monster. During my time here, many motivated people were promoted and made it to a much better position.
Cons
Offices are on the 1st and 3rd floor, on the 2nd floor is another company. It`s not ideal, but acceptable (you`ll need to use the stairs or elevator)

Pros
Beautiful view at the office Amazingly friendly and talented colleagues Benefits are really good, should you make it past your probation Free breakfast and lunch
Cons
Owner is insanely difficult. He is definitely not a 'people person' and has no social radar. Firing rate is high, people are being let go for no adequate reason, mostly before their probation has ended. This leads to a negative office climate, since most people there are too afraid to speak up but will talk about the problems behind managements back, they literally all think the same. 'Welcome to WIS' has become a satirical slogan almost. The owner is rude, has no compassion and cares little about the workers themselves, shocking in such a small company. To bring his point across in what should be 1-2-1's, meaning encouraging and problem solving talks, he raises his voice and isn't very professional about things that have to be conveyed. Corporate through and through Micromanagement everywhere No room for creativity or ideas, since the owner will meddle with it, it's his way or the highway You as a person just don't count, that's the way everyone feels. To the people eventually applying there; don't. Wait until the owner eventually wakes up and puts someone in place that can do the job, otherwise search for something else. There's a lot of fantastic opportunities in Malta.

Dear Glassdoor-User, please be advised that we received here a lot of reviews with the lowest rating possible, apparently all from the same person, at the same time, with the purpose to bash us and to reduce our Glassdoor company score (check for this the "Rating Trend" function next to our overall score). Regarding the review: First of all, many thanks that you took your time to review us. We are happy about every feedback, only like this, we can learn how to improve. We do offer almost all company benefits within the probation. We believe that nothing is more important than the right people and with a high churn rate, it will become impossible to grow. With a high churn, we`ll have to continuously spend the time to make good the deficits, rather than focusing on our goals. I also believe, nobody, whether it`s an Employer or an Employee, would terminate without reason. Also, we think that it`s a bad sign when you tell people what they should do because that behaviour typically reflects micromanagement. Instead, we are training and testing. We give our people our thoughts on how they might approach their decisions. As a manager, team lead or head of a department, you should be able to delegate the details away. If you can’t, you either have problems with managing or training or you have the wrong people doing the job. The real sign of a good manager is that he doesn’t have to “do” practically anything. Therefore, we do not support micromanagement. However, I`d like that you tell me this feedback a little more specific. Please feel free to contact our HR or me directly. Thank you! Pros
-free lunch -remote working option
Cons
-people frequently regret joining this company as many get fired during probation for no reason at all. -managers offer very little direction. It's a free-for-all, and absolutely NO warning before you are fired. -sometimes people get fired and their managers don't even knowpeople get fired and their managers don't even knowpeople get fired and their managers don't even know about it. -the company is portayed very positively online but most people don't stay in this company for very long, as is very apparent on LinkedIn. -There's a lot of favouritism and lying amongst coworkers to get people fired. -stratrgists get very little say on the overall appearance of the websites even though they are tasked with bringing in the clicks.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your thoughts. Sometimes, due to unfortunate and various reasons, WIS indeed decides to part ways with employees while they are on probation. But issues potentially leading to that are discussed between the employee and their manager sometimes months before the decision is made. We are sorry to hear that you think there is lying and favouritism as this is not what our company culture is based on and this is the very first time this has been brought up. This is not the experience that most of the employees have had or are currently having. Nevertheless we would like to thank you for the information given and we will work on certain areas of our employees journey to ensure it’s a positive one. WIS People Team

Pros
Only after leaving WIS, did I realize how good the structure of the company is. Very professional environment, good people plus amazing perks.
Cons
Too much pressure / unrealistic expectations (management has changed since I left though).

Pros
Nice view, met some great people, a few good benefits if you pass your probabtion, some good people left in the team you can learn from but lets hope they find something new.
Cons
If you want control over you're own work and the freedom to be original I would unfortunatley advise against WIS. Micromanagment is everywhere and the owner is convinced his way is best, quantity over quality does not work! Peopl get fired during probation for no reason. Favoritism is rife with certian members of the team lying about others to get them fired. Rules are disctates to the employees every single day, office management isn't a thing and no sense of making the office a happy environment. No concept of trust.
