I worked at WebEx full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very interesting product to work on and a lot of challenges.
If you're willing to stick your nose where you shouldn't, people will be more than happy to give you more responsibility.

    Cons

Things happen very very slowly like any other large company.
Most of the Eng team is in China which results in a lot of emails and sometimes late night meetings.

    Advice to Management

Make things move faster. It doesn't make sense that customers need to wait months for new features.

I worked at WebEx full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are no Plus points with this company

    Cons

Very Unfriendly work environment. If Manager is happy, then your job and salary is cool, else, it sucks. Managers work on Bias basis , favorites get good projects to work. It has kiss - A** culture.

Webex is supposed to encourage tele commute, but at the work place, they don't allow work from home. Well on paper it's allowed, but if you are not on good terms with your manager, it's not allowed.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your team members, and not just protect the So-called leaders you appointed.

I worked at WebEx full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Once had cutting edge technology
    Revolutionized sales, marketing and service
Sales roles could earn great $$
    Place to grow your career

    Cons

Ownership by Cisco has crippled product development, innovation and growth.
    Continual layoffs
Talent drain as people leave to go elsewhere

    Advice to Management

Sell this company and let someone who is in the SaaS business run it more effectively
Continue to develop the services....they are stagnating and the company is losing its competitive edge
