I have been working at Weber State University as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Faculty and staff go above and beyond to ensure that needs are meet to be more effective when completing projects. Lots of opportunities available of you take the initiative.

    Cons

None that I can think of. Attending and working at this University was the best decision that I've made thus far in my career.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing because it works.

I worked at Weber State University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good school and good place to work for.

    Cons

Some supervisors like to act like they are solving rocket science. Easy on some stuff, believe me you will be more successful in your field and that will make your employees want to work with you everyday.

    Advice to Management

himm well wsu is a school and students pay you money so you are there and your job is making the school & campus better place for students. It seems like some of the employees (especially in registrar's) don't really understand the purpose of why they are there for.

I have been working at Weber State University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Discount on student fees for employee and family.
Beautiful campus and it is always growing.
Constant improvements of office machines, programs and software.

    Cons

The lack of conformity on instructions for tasks is huge, so you have to work to find how to complete your tasks.
University is still heavy with constant reminders of LDS world and culture.
Colleges do not work with each other. Each college is its own separate island.
Separation of staff and faculty is and adjustment.
