    Pros

Employees and management are courteous, treat each other with respect. It's a team-based culture. The organization is growing under new management. There's lots of opportunity for grilling!

    Cons

A major layoff (~100) occurred recently. There were none when I worked at the company. Salaries for many specialties are mediocre.

I have been working at Weber-Stephen Products full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits are the best reason. The pay is low for the industry, but high for the area. Work schedule is also fairly static.

    Cons

Advancement is impossible without personally influencing your superiors and their superiors. Other qualifications have little to do with promotion. Gossip is rampant. Theft of time is also routine. Every level of management is involved in stealing from the company.

    Advice to Management

If any upper management read this, new oversight of resources should be implemented with a strict policy on gossip. Turn out a whole new HR staff as well. They are a main source.
