Pros

WebTec is a great people-focused business (both customers and employees). It's inclusive in its decision-making. They are constantly looking to refine processes to make employees more successful in their roles and this ultimately transfers into great delivery for the customers. There are lots of smart people at WebTec and everyone is helpful and supportive and open to suggestions.

Cons

TBH I am only writing here because you can't leave it empty. If anything you do need to have a certain amount of self-motivation and drive to work at WebTec as it's a remote international company.

Pros

I've had so far a great experience being part of Webtec's team of copywriters. The requirements are clear, the work tools provided are very practical, and there's also a good chemistry in team's communication. Overall, I feel comfortable working here on a remote position.

I am very happy to have the opportunity to work at Webtec! The culture is very inspiring, we really work as a team, even though everyone works remotely. There are many lovely people in our team, it would be fun to meet them sometime! If you bring something up that doesn't work, it really feels like it's being taken seriously, and it feels good to be able to come up with ideas and contribute to the company's growth. You get just as happy every time you see that customers you've introduced leave reviews on Google, it's a good sign that our work is appreciated! It's nice that you can choose what times you want to work, it makes everyday life easy to get together.

It is both a pro and a con to working remotely, it is very flexible, but you miss having colleagues around you from time to time.

I've worked for Webtec for a long time now and what I love about working for this firm really is the fact that they value you as a person. They won't micromanage you and really allow you to work your best. If you make a mistake, they will not take it against you. Instead, they will help you find a solution for it.

+ Completely remote. I have been doing my job while traveling the world which is such a dream. + The management team are just great people with good ethics. They keep their word which is something I appreciate a lot. + I can set my own hours without needing to provide a reason. I get paid for what value I provide, not for the hours I spend.

- As a startup, things change all the time. No biggie if you are willing to embrace change. - Sometimes I miss having colleagues.

Work here is like having fun. Team is really supportive, caring and co-operative. Communication and return time in between departments is amazing and smooth.

There is a quite big list of pros, maybe because I am always inclined to see the positive in everything. First of all, this is a fully remote Company which during this time I would say is a huge plus, they are ahead of many other companies. For us, this is a very good benefit. The people are simply amazing, everyone is willing to help each other and we all give everything to make the Company achieve its goals. They have built a very nice team environment despite we are all in different countries. So big up for all the management. The management is very transparent and willing to provide us with the best work environment, benefits when possible, and flexibility. The management always wants to improve the workflow and always asks us how to improve it, which is certainly not so common ( I worked with so many "I know it all that" I really appreciate this) Last but not least the management gives us the chance to enhance our skills by incentivizing education with online courses, a great plus honestly.

Cons

Being such a fast-growing company it can be very challenging for us to breathe and focusing on a subject is rare, so I had the feeling of running nowhere several times. Despite this, I have to say I have learned a lot and I have never felt alone, even more, I witnessed moments where all of us gave extra energy to solve critical issues. Freelancing is great but also has some pain points: no vacation/sick leaves, maternity, and being in other countries means also that we have different costs of living and taxation. I am pretty sure this transition of working remotely worldwide is a key point and new improvements will come and the gaps we have now will be covered in the future.
