I have been working at Weeks Marine full-time

    Pros

Great projects, great people to work with, integrate all levels of skill, good at educating new employees, rotation program gives you various insight to many operations within the company, 15 days vacation, competitive salary, room to grow

    Cons

Work a lot of hours, bonuses are below average, many jobs are located in the NYC area so commuting an be a hassle depending on where you live,

I worked at Weeks Marine full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No pros because its a horrible company to work for.

    Cons

Be prepared to never be home for holidays, birthdays and other life changing events. unless someone has died then you get a day. Training is a joke and the equipment is older then dirt and instead of buying new equipment they buy old junk equipment and spend thousands of dollars trying to repair it. Even after repairing it the equipment works 1/3 of the time.

    Advice to Management

If you want a lower turn over rate maybe you should focus on the issues such as long hours, low pay, more then most people handle with jobs that pay 25k more a year.

I worked at Weeks Marine full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Travel miles and hotel points. Always on the water and around boats. Trainings and certifications like boat license and OSHA30 among others.

    Cons

Low per diem, incompetent people on management. Seniority goes before reason. Very very unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring real engineers to work under morons

I have been working at Weeks Marine full-time

    Pros

The pay is excellent. Majority of the foreman's that I have worked with are very mechanically inclined.

    Cons

The rotation 28 days of work and 14 home is what I don't like! I'm in the process of looking for a well paying job back home because I have infants that need me home!

    Advice to Management

Don't keep where the next job is so secretive so that you can allow employees time to prepare for relocation.
