I worked at Weichert Workforce Mobility full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

wide range of clients, worldwide presence

    Cons

no consistent vision. flavor of the month approach to service delivery and metrics

    Advice to Management

stick with what works, and set expectations where they actually CAN be met, not just out of reach, and then use them as an excuse for no bonuses and raises

I worked at Weichert Workforce Mobility full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good work/life balance due to recent work remote opportunity 2 days a week.

    Cons

Upper management believes they are open and transparent, but many times they did not clearly articulate their vision and you wondered if 'anyone was steering the ship'.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to your employees. There has to be a common reason for the high turnover rate.

I worked at Weichert Workforce Mobility full-time

    Pros

Decent pay. Decent training opportunities such as for real estate license.

    Cons

Beyond the lack of culture, cohesiveness and pride, this is a terribly unprofessional working environment. Colleagues regularly swear and yell. They have either been there for too long, or don't know why they work there. HR is non-existent. Managers are desperately under-trained in how to manage people and seem to have mostly gotten lucky or rewarded for length of service. Priorities are entirely in the wrong place. No vision or purpose with very short-sighted thinking. In no way a global or multicultural organization. Roles are siloed. If there is a vastly more inefficient way to do it, then this is typically how it will be done. Technology is tragically outdated. No value or appreciation for innovative thinking. Poor management and financial forecasting have the organization in financial decline.

    Advice to Management

    Evolve into the 21st century.

I worked at Weichert Workforce Mobility full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Good work/life balance, at least in the finance side.

    - Salary was fair. Offered more than I originally asked for.

    - Big cubicles and nice atmosphere in general.

    Cons

    - Very small company, so one bad quarter can mean loss of job.

    - Not a good place for young graduates. Limited growth potential.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with employees. Be truthful with job requirements and expectations.

I have been working at Weichert Workforce Mobility full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Weichert is an outstanding global employer. Tremendous depth and highly experienced leadership. People really care about the customers. Communication on company objectives and performance against those objectives is clear and delivered monthly to all employees.

    Cons

The relocation industry is highly competitive. This is a service business so we always have to be on our toes to satisfy our clients. It requires hard work!

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to the employees and clients.

    "A Terrible Company"

    Pros

An okay place to start out in the relocation/HR industry, good time off.

    Cons

Extremely poor management team offering no leadership skills or mentoring abilities. They also play favorites with employees and reward those not who could offer more to the Company, but those who sit quietly and are no risk to their own careers. Therefore there is no career path - you will stay in same job with same salary forever unless you get in with the right crowd which is near impossible.

    Advice to Management

Replace middle management and develop a true career path/progression that is clearly explained to all employees. Allow employees to break out and assist with other aspects of the business like business development. Initiating services and processing expenses is a job that gets boring quick.

    Pros

An easy commute, nice facilities, pleasant work environment, competent management. IT infrastructure and software applications are up to date. On site cafeteria

    Cons

Lots of backstabbing among lower level employees, high drama all day by older women who protect their territories like lions. Mostly unwilling to help new employees and will gladly throw you under the bus at the drop of a hat. You need to be on guard at all times lest you become prey.

    Advice to Management

The company is well run and management is on the ball. Lower level staff needs to be reigned in. Many of the "old timers" are inflexable and seem to be bored with the work, lacking a sense of urgency. Deadwood all over, needs to be culled in order for the company to move forward.

    Pros

The top people are bright and dynamic while many of the next level of management support the status quo or worse.

    Cons

Many of the client services staff are not telling the whole truth to their clients. Changes are implemented but they are afraid to notify their clients, so they hold their breath and hope the clients don't find out

    Advice to Management

Make the changes you know are important ans stop letting other relocation companies take your ideas and implement them while you go back to business as usual-are you listening Mr Minnetian?
