I have been working at Weight Watchers part-time

    Pros

You get Weight Watchers and E-tools for free. All products (except magazines) are half off. You get to interact and help people with their weight loss journey.

    Cons

Little pay, but I don't do it for the money.

    Advice to Management

The only other con is that some products are expensive and they don't sell. Corporate should listen to those in the meetings to see what can sell.

I worked at Weight Watchers part-time

    Pros

Fun environment, nice co-workers, get to listen to meetings, keeps you focused on your own weight loss.

    Cons

Terrible pay, lack of organization, high turnover, pressure to stay at goal weight and all thoughts of you as a WW "member" with weight loss needs ends.

    Advice to Management

Don't recruit people not yet at goal then pressure them with monthly weigh-ins.

I have been working at Weight Watchers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible working environment, nice culture, work from home a lot, loads of vacation time and holidays. Minimal micromanagement or none actually

    Cons

They can work you hard because of staffing issues. only seem to promote the younger staff or friends of upper management. Seems to be lack of structure and guidance for most.

    Advice to Management

Get your hands wet and see what's going on. There is way too much turn over for some reason and this should be looked into. Look at the work and how much your staff are doing before criticizing what they produce or didn't produce.

I worked at Weight Watchers (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Worked with smart and creative group of people. Projects were challenging and there was satisfaction that we were helping someone improve their lives. I was able to move up and grow into a leadership role. Overall, a good experience.

    Cons

Frustrating that the company could not move with the times from a technology standpoint. Colleagues voiced this early on but it seem to fall on deaf ears until the company struggled with keeping up with free apps and devices that could track food and weight much easier. This resulted in the 2015 layoffs where many of those smart and creative people were let go. Afterwards, many others also left.

    Advice to Management

Hopefully the technology will improve and they will appeal to a broader market. Listen to your people.
