      Pros

      - Great benefits (medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, etc) - Annual merit increase (only about 3% to 4%) - Flexible with school and social schedule (certain departments) - Looks good on your resume

      Cons

      - Physicians/NPs will go through leaps and bounds for certain patients, but not for all (aka "VIP" patients vs regular patients). - Low Pay for the amount of work given in the department - Asked for a raise and was told no. Received the same annual merit that every single WCM employee receives - The commute from LI to NYC

      Pros

Good healthcare benefits. Also offer retire medical benefits and pension if you last that long.

      Cons

Very low pay. I myself gained 19% increase withing the five years I worked there. However, as soon as my managers left the organization, they let me go. Simple reason as they put it - "It's a budget thing". No other division wanted to pick up on my salary. They prefer Administrative Secretaries to earn no more than $42,000 per year if they can help it. I earned approximately $52,000 and it was too much for them.

      Pros

Cornell has a prestigious name attached to it and they feed off of that.

      Cons

      - low pay compared to other companies in the NYC area (ie. NYU Langone, MSKCC, Rockefeller) - less vacation and sick leave compared to other companies - Horrible work environment -Work extra hours but do not get paid overtime -expect to come in on weekends for free, or respond to emails and messages during late hours and over the weekend -Rude co-workers -No room for growth -People constantly leave or quit and have to deal with training new people all the time (every 6 months or less) I can go on, but please take my advice and go work somewhere else if you have the opportunity.

      Pros

      - lots of publications come out of cornell - NYC - nice new facilities - tons of funding

      Cons

      - low pay, for NYC this is hard to manage well - 35 hour work weeks which means if you're being paid hourly you get less $$ - most labs will expect you to work over 35 hours a week with no pay.
