    Pros

I like and respect my boss as well as nearly all the people with whom I work closely. It's not perfect, but it's a pretty positive and supportive place to work. The other big positive is the vast improvement in upper management after the acquisition by Hill-Rom last year.

    Cons

There is mobility available as long as you are willing and able to relocate to the main office in Central New York state. Otherwise, not so much.

    Pros

Very nice people. Family atmposhere. Employees are polite and courteous. Welch Allyn tries very hard to make sure that good employees are retained . layoffs are rare , and are minimized. Budgets and payroll controlled very carefully.

    Cons

Welch Allyn employs a lot of personnel from the upstate new york area that may not have sufficient experience in the medical device industry that has been received from previous employers. They do not provide good training for their employees.
