Dec 7, 2022 - Community Marketing Executive in San Diego, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The other marketing reps. were great. The in-house marketing support was great. The CEO was great. The support staff for sales staff was phenomenal. It was nice to work and plan my own schedule, etc.
Cons
Difficult to make the sale. Lots of cancellations. The program was not effective for my customers. Customers became angry and wanted refunds or out of their contracts. Corporate didn't let them out of contracts. Company would not give refunds. Customers always wanted to cancel so there were never renewals. It was always a hard sell and no renewals. This job is only tolerable if you have another job or in a relationship where they don't care how much you bring in. My spouse was not supportive seeing me work so hard for the money I was making. A very difficult job to make a living.

Scam alert
Apr 11, 2022 - Community Marketing Executive in Saint Louis, MORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Started out OK until Covid Hit.
Cons
No base pay, commissions were not great. Especially if the client defaults. Company didn’t treat their clients well at all during Covid lock downs. Would not allow the marketing executive to reach out to the clients. We were told not to contact their clients. I had half of them contact me months after Covid lock downs were in place, to discontinue their contracts. There was no point of contact to reach ? Unsure if this company is even still in business.
Welcome Wagon Response
Thank you for your feedback. Covid was a very difficult time for everyone I think we can all admit. What once was the normal - was all the sudden not. The corporate office needed to put new procedures in place. Off the top one of those procedures was to extend all contracts for our advertisers. We have been in business for over 100 years and will be for a very long time to come. If any client reaches out to you for any reason please have them call Welcome Wagon directly as we are here Monday through Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm at 954-509-7740. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.
