    Cons

Too much management, to many lions and not enough little man, it always about the bubget.

I worked at WellSpan Health part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great health insurance. Good pto, and retirement benefits.

    Cons

Management is seriously lacking. I found the workplace to be extremely clique-y, not very warm to "outsiders". Staff was EXTREMELY judgmental to the certain patients, therefore affecting the care that was provided to them. Nursing assistants were performing tests and procedures that were COMPLETELY out of their scope. My position was a new one to the particular office, and the orientation was sub par.

    Advice to Management

Educate your employees on cultural awareness.

I have been working at WellSpan Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is an amazing company to work for because of the people. They are always pleasant and helpful regardless of your stress at the moment. Managers have your back, support and team work has been unprecedented in my career thus far.

    Cons

It is a large organization and sometimes things fall through the cracks despite the best processes actively put in place. Humans make mistakes anywhere you go.

I worked at WellSpan Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working in the Data Center Operations group for a number of years my co-workers were great people, and supervisors were fair. Constantly learning something new. Casual environment.
Health benefits are fantastic as long as you use an in network provider. Growing and constantly working to keep up with current technologies.

    Cons

There are no consistent skill levels or expectations of co-workers. If you were skilled and made a mistake the manager would come down hard, if you were relatively low skill and did so, rarely a word was said. Lack of communications between the different IT areas was lacking. It was almost impossible to move from the IT Operations area into a more technical area.

Decent pay and great benefits. Plenty of positions to choose from.

    Cons

You're just a number. Management's hands are tied due to policies.

    Advice to Management

Let upper management know what you're employees need and stick up for them

    Cons

Everything other than the handful of good people who worked there.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of yourselves and hire new management.

I worked at WellSpan Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits were good. Pay was about average.

    Cons

While they pay lip service to caring about employees, coworkers are encouraged to stab each other in the back in order to curry favor with management. Huge turnover due to unbearable office politics. Fires people for silly things like not making enough eye contact during meetings.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring people just to turn around and find excuses to fire them before they even figure out the corporate culture.
