I have been working at WellStar Health System full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Been here over a month and so far it is laid back. The people for the most part are very nice! Everyone smiling and saying hello and good morning/afternoon.

    Cons

Pay is HORRIBLE for the amount of work required and requested. It is absolutely ridiculous. I have been looking for another job since I started. 85% of the doctors are rude and stuck up.

    Advice to Management

Pay your people more for what you want them to do.

I have been working at WellStar Health System full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Nice people to work with

    Cons

Extensive workload, pay IS NOT competitive despite what they say in orientation(others pay $6 more), was hired for 40hr full time but you don’t get, cannot work overtime, insurance is crappy, across the board they are short staffed (EVERYWHERE), can’t move from facility your at to another for 6months, you can get terminated if your child is sick and you take more than three days off for emergencies within a 90day consecutive period.

    Advice to Management

Pay your staff at least $ 6.00more, employees should be allowed to transfer if not happy at current location and exempt the six month waiting period. Which means you should find out how your employee is doing. I’m on month four and no one asks how I’m doing!?!
