I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You will probably form tight bonds with some co-workers who deal with the same issues on a daily basis.

    Cons

Everything was about sales rather than customer service. I felt like I was being lied to and manipulated on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees like humans. Treat customers like partners.

    Pros

Good benefits: medical, 401K matching contributions; Bank is in all states except HI, which make it easier to transfer or get employed in another state.

    Cons

limited grow in retail banking. High sales goals

    Pros

Fair pay, good hours, great coworkers!

    Cons

Processes/expectations from corporate change OFTEN. Customers are very, very, very difficult. The pressure to meet the sales quota is nearly crippling.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good company to work for. Great vacation, they really invest in their employees. They encourage you to volunteer at local organizations and will even pay you your salary to do it.

    Cons

Fairly low pay and high stress. Don't like that they are so sales driven. You can make the customers just as happy when you meet their needs instead of trying to sell them something all the time.

    Advice to Management

Think less about trying to sell to every single customer and more about just making them happy.
