I worked at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits. And you have the potential to earn a lot of extra money, IF you are good at selling to people.

    Cons

They are very pushy with their "Sales Goals" and I watched as it pushed people to make unethical choices just to add a couple more points to the board. They will tell you, it's not sales, you are finding "Financial Solutions." But really, you're just a teller and a vast majority of your goals are based on the luck of who walks in the door.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great Benefits
    Good Hours
    Good Bonus Incentives

    Cons

Too Much pressure to get sales which leads to unethical behavior
Getting sales from customer is more important than taking care of customers actual needs

    Advice to Management

Don't encourage your bakers/tellers to open accounts, credit cards, etc, at the expense of the customer
Hold you team accountable for what is expected. Don't just let people get by with little things, it lowers the moral of the rest of the group

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits that start after just one full calendar month of employment, okay pay, chance to bonus each quarter.

    Cons

In the interview I was told that they try to place new employees at a branch no more than 7 miles from their home. I was placed at a branch 25 miles away from home. Training is strange.

    Advice to Management

Please be honest in the interview process regarding location.
