I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Good pay
    - Good benefits
    - Customer focused
    - Large company with lots of name recognition
    - Good work/life balance

    Cons

    - Elitist management
    - Inefficient
    - Few opportunities for advancement

    Advice to Management

There is a lot of low hanging fruit that management could do to improve WF processes and improve consistency but mgmt seems unwilling to make necessary changes

WF is so large that moving to different areas of the bank or to different teams is generally unheard of

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The amount of time you get off for volunteering, sickness and vacation is great. Team members are like families. Wells Fargo is a leader in diversity and inclusion.

    Cons

Constant changes in the structure of the company puts a lot of pressure and stress on the team members. Pay is not as competitive as it could be.

    Advice to Management

Reward non revenue producing team members as well

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Health, Vision and Dental insurances. 401k

    Cons

Mediocre, petty leadership. Best talent isn't promoted. Poor performers and pathological liars are.

    Advice to Management

Diversity should be more than a written policy. For example, not a single person of color at the AE level in Atlanta although a female led 3 Atlanta teams (DVM) to consistent performance and a black male currently employed has been a top performer for years. Instead, long term bottom quartile performers get ahead.
