I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have worked within the banking field for 28 years. I have been with Wells Fargo since 2009. It is a great company to work for. They offer outstanding benefits including 4 months paid maternity leave. The starting salary is very competitive. The hours are great and some branches are closed on Saturday. Great customer service is the focus in everything they do. If you have awesome customer service skills everything else will come in time. The chance for advancement is achievable for everyone who works hard towards the goal.

    Cons

The annual merit increases in salary are very minimal. The turnover on the teller line is often.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Collaboration. Respect. Opportunity. Growth. Teamwork. Flexibility. Security.

    Cons

    Management chain reorganizations are many.

    Advice to Management

Develop a process template for key requirements (i.e., risk, incident, and change management) that all LOBs must follow. Tailor the template to allow for the tailoring of sections as applicable.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Potential for good money and opportunities for advancement if you want to have a fortune 500 company working experience under your belt.

    Cons

Teach and force corrupt business practices, work you until you drop and expect ridiculous goals to be met then get rid of the wrong people when they are in hot water

    Advice to Management

Fix from the top down, not from the bottom. Culture is represented by leadership. You want to fix what's broken at Wells then don't ask your employees to do things that they shouldn't just so you can fill the senior execs with millions of dollars of bonuses.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great starting salary. Plenty of advancement opportunities. After becoming a banker you can move to any part of the company from there.

    Cons

There has been changes that are slowly taking place. Some changes are to prevent unethical behavior. Some are unnecessary. The recently changed the incentive structure. No one likes this change because there's less money available for incentive and you get a smaller bonus for the same production.

    Advice to Management

Either raise the salaries or change the incentive structure back to how it was before. You ask for too much for the pay you actually give.
