I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

High volume clients, busy walk in traffic, great benefits.

    Cons

Unrealistic goals to obtain a very minimal bonus payout. Max commission per quarter is $8,500 . Other banks allow you an opportunity to make this kind of bonus per month . In Order to make any substantial money you must advance out of the the retail branch banking .

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, easy scheduling, great coworkers (sometimes)

    Cons

Goodness where do I start?! The sales aspect!!! Wells Fargo goes on and on about "customer experience" but they could honestly care less. Great customer experience isn't great when you're shoving products a clients doesn't need down their throats! And God forbid your sales pitch falls on deaf ears for a clients that has every products they need, you're the failure. And in my district if your aren't apart of a certain ethnic background that speaks a specific language (rhymes with marsi) then you can kiss any equal treatment goodbye. In a nutshell desperate and most of the time unethical sales practices, ill trained management, and a disgusting penchant for favoritism based on what language you speak make the Beverly Hills district the ugly spoiled stepchild of Wells Fargo.

    Pros

Stable steady work that you will be able to clock in and clock out

    Cons

Dead end position at Wells Fargo. You will need to make a lateral move that will require your investment registration license, (life Insurance, series 6, & 6.3) or real estate license. If you don't not there is no higher level in business.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

decent money great connection with customers

    Cons

un ethical sales, does not care about clients only sales numbers and goals. Everybody inside the company knows what is going on but chooses to turn a blind eye. The worse you are the quicker you get promoted

    Advice to Management

It is corrupted from the ground up not much management can do. This problem needs to be solved from the president of retail. To truly see what is going on in these branches.

    Pros

Competitive pay if you are a top performer, flexible hours, and great coworkers

    Cons

Same old corporate red tape. Biggest downfall is during promotion time, mid range salary is rarely given to you if you are an existing employee.
