    Positive Outlook

I worked at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are great, pay is more than average, overall great company ,always show employees appreciation by giving gifts

    Cons

Call center is difficult to tolerate for most because of the scoring, Q A scores, adherence scores, Aht scoring makes job stressful and a hag to deal with

    Advice to Management

Do away with scoring , focus on QA and customer needs, longer breaks ,

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, very relaxed environment, dress code allows tattoos and piercings, no drug test

    Cons

Constant fear of lay offs due to reckless overstaffing, any promises regarding procedures remaining the same or promotions are empty, ethically, the company is horrific, they have learned NOTHING from the 2016 scandal and have merely removed sales goals from their call centers. Mark my words, the next scandal will be over their secured credit cards: branch associates promise customers they will be upgraded to unsecured within 6 months, in truth this is based on credit and MAY NEVER HAPPEN. Customers are shocked when they find out.

    Advice to Management

Keep your promises, don't overhire 172 people and then get surprised by labor costs, and for gods sake have some ethical accountability before a whistleblower does it for you.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay wasn't bad and PTO was decent.

    Cons

You are just a number, you work with people that steal from your desk, the bathrooms looked like something from a horror film, management is useless at best, and corrupt business practices.

    Advice to Management

At least pretend to care for your employees and customers

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good people. I have had some really good bosses and a bunch of coworkers that were great.

    Cons

There are tons of opportunities for career development if you live in a city with one of the main sites. I came on in Birmingham though and don't have a ton of opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Keep developing your best talent. It's always sad to see people leave when they aren't being challenged and encouraged.

    Pros

Good pay for employees and bonus potential

    Cons

    Hard to advance. Unrealistic goals.

    Advice to Management

Lower expectations and be consistent with requested documents from customers.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great hours, flexible shifts, they give you all your PTO (paid time off) in advance of accruing them

    Cons

The importance of making sales and closing sales through product referrals are rarely ever discussed through 6 weeks of training but once you hit the call center floor that metric is the most important facet to your job.
Diversity and Inclusion is preached but not practiced

    Advice to Management

More emphasis is required on products offered by Wells Fargo so that referrals would be made more easily once armed with that knowledge.

Stress the importance of sales up front to avoid losing less employees.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

All the employees that I have worked with were great team players, eager to train you properly, they had great benefits, great accommodations for any employee that needed that assistance, and they never turned their back on a fellow colleague.

    Cons

The only downfall was the closing of the mortgage department.

    Advice to Management
