I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits like 401K, health insurance, paid time off and several other things.

    Cons

When I worked there it was all about sales and managers would micro manage you to no end. It was difficult to be promoted without knowing someone on the "inside" or if you didn't sell a lot.

    Advice to Management

Stop Micro managing and putting pressure.

    Pros

Great team, benefits, growth opportunity, learning something new every day, protected environment. You can and will succeed if you stay positive and inquisitive and don't succumb to pressure and all negativity that exists in any line of work.

    Cons

Sales goals are harder to reach given new caps and less than competative customer incentives.

    Advice to Management

Wells Fargo stores need update. They are dull, uninteresting, lacking in design and not inviting.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

The pay was decent, paid time off.

    Cons

Horrible management, no work to life balance. Managers expect you to reach your extremely high sales goals. My managers bullied, harassed and threatened me. I had to call HR several times to which they didn't do much since the manager knew everyone including people in HR. Everyone was miserable with no motivation. Same speech everyday at the morning huddle. I have never worked for a company where people are treated like programmed robots and they do not care about the customers at all.

    Advice to Management

This is the worst company to work for.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

lots of potential to move up, great benefits and days off. pay is decent with no experience necessary and the training is intense. incentive is a good pay out if you can actually make your numbers.

    Cons

have to follow many policy and procedures within the bank. nothing is a quick fix. have to deal with irate customers. goals and sales are intense and you always feel like you could lose your job.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits packages, vacation time, insurance etc. I honestly do not have many pros for working with Wells Fargo.

    Cons

all they care about is sales, they really do not care about the customer. Goals can be unreachable. Yes the benefits are great, but with such a high turnover I was constantly denied to take time off

    Advice to Management

Find a new job, don't lose your soul to Wells Fargo

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

health benefits, 401k is good, paid holidays

    Cons

not enough PTO, management is micromanagement. They don't care about anyone but themselves. I got asked by 3 different managers to find another job because they didnt "like" me. Constant sales pressure. Your only as Good as your last day.

    Advice to Management

Stop harassing the employees. Too much sales pressure and micro management

    Pros

high salary, and good co workers

    Cons

unethical, high sales goals, no proper branch manager

    Advice to Management

hire branch managers that actually know about the banking industry instead of managers with only sales experience and be more ethical with sales.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits. Ok bonuses if you can reach extremely high sales goals.

    Cons

Where do I start.. Bad pay. Micromanaging. The store manager is pressured for sales so much that the bankers get threatened for their jobs. We place outbound calls, sadly most of them are cold calls which is not on the job restriction. If you can't get accounts from customers that walk in then you do "feet on the street". Basically who're yourself on the street to different businesses and SOLICIT them and their customers to open accounts with us. Technology is outdated, any updates to the software come with a ton of glitches. Managers don't care much about helping current customers unless we are being able to sell products to them.
I'm not a banker. IM A RETAIL SALES PERSON.
