I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great support team, plenty of benefits, easy job. Great pay for the work actually being done. Very thorough training.

    Cons

Plenty of opportunity for advancement. just not much in Idaho. This is a really boring job. You just stand there all day.

    Advice to Management

Let your tellers sit during slow times. It physically hurts to stand all day long. A manager should be in the branch at all times to be available for approvals.

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Pay! Simple job! Lots of knowledge resources

    Cons

It's hard to get full time. As someone who is internal is seems more difficult to get the same job at other locations with more hours as well as move up. It doesn't matter if you have a degree or not it's all about experience you have.

    Advice to Management

Communication skills need some work, managers all depend on the branch as well but most are great.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They offer you great benefits, and the longer you work there the more time you earn of pto, paid time off.

    Cons

It can be very political at times because it is a big corporation. But in the last couple of years, they have been trying to change the way people perceive them and trying to make it more customer friendly.

    Advice to Management

Keep it about the customer and not about the bottom line.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wells Fargo is an awesome company to work for. I gained very valuable, professional experience while finishing my Bachelors Degree at Boise State University.

    Cons

The company was very sales oriented when I first became employed, which put an extreme amount of pressure on employees, resulting in many unethical practices to ensure job security. It was a hard time to be employed.

    Advice to Management

LISTEN TO THE LITTLE GUYS. A lot of times, they see first hand where we can improve.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

It all started off great-after the culture changed 3 yrs Into my job- and was a steady decline ever since- I was promoted to QA to make sure that federal guidelines were adhered to- my mgmt did everything they could to make sure I "overlooked" bankers lying and stealing and gaming on accounts- it was mega high pressure, crony favoritism at its worst! I would NEVER tell someone I liked or cared for to work here- from upper level mgrs to co workers, your nothing more than a "stat"

    Cons

absolutely did not care one iota about work life balance and uses people to make big bucks-dont walk away from this job-RUN!!

    Advice to Management

Get your act togethet- clean house of old corrupt mgmt and treat people right!

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

    Good Benefits. Cafeteria in building.

    Cons

To many scripts, team members extremely competitive to such a point you are made fun of, degraded & put down if your not collecting as much as them. Definitely don't ever get sick or have medical issues as they use that to put you down too.

    Advice to Management

Reign in your employees. Have them treat others with respect. Stop the side conversations while on the phones.
