I worked at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

Provide good benefits pacakge. Always hiring.

    Cons

Pay low salary. Many branch managers did not finish college thus act unprofessionally. A number of them can't even spell or write a decent email.

    Advice to Management

Please learn to be professional. Know how to recognize true talent and potentials of employees. Find ways of making employees feel important to the organization not just cogs in your huge money making machinery.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Team was extremely nice and fun to work with. I’m the beginning when I didn’t know anything, almost everyone was trying to offer their time to teach me.

    Cons

Management needs to have better communication skills. The bank also needs to make sure that the managers have adequate training and are QUALIFIED for their position.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees in a sincere way. I could tell that it’s all a facade easily. Sit down with your bankers and tellers. Come to the morning huddles to discuss and listen.

I worked at Wells Fargo (Less than a year)

    Pros

For someone who enjoys working with customers face-to-face, retail banking gives you great exposure from walk-ins. With just a little extra effort, customers will love you. While at WF I developed lots of fruitful relationships with clients.

    Cons

Incredibly high turnover, including management in many branches. Very high sales goals for personal bankers, you will need to leverage your personal relationships to achieve these goals when you're just starting off.

    Advice to Management

Spend some time thinking about what you want the culture of your branch to be. People these days care about culture, even in banking.
