I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 10 years
Regardless of what is in the popular press, Wells Fargo has an excellent culture where people work hard and are paid very competitively for what they contribute. WF's formal Vision and Values statement includes a commitment to team members because they are a competitive advantage. The company and its leaders behave that way.
At least in the past, senior managers regarded technology as a necessary evil as opposed to a competitive advantage. Also, the bank remains particularly siloed, even within business lines.
