I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Entry level, they pay for licenses series 7 & 63 and give you tools and support to pass the test. They promote internally within a year and managers will help you succeed. If you make it and become a Client service consultant 2 the job is great! 401K match, PTO, holidays off, and weekends off.

    Cons

Call center environment. Client service consultant 1 may take a lot of calls if short staffed. Can be frustrating in the beginning dealing with clients, but gets easier as you learn. Strict quality call reviews. 2 chances to pass license tests if not your terminated. Tough it out a year and move up!

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good management with many years of experience. Pay, benefits, time off is average or slightly above average. Great team environment. -100% match on 401k up to 6% -2 days off a year to volunteer at your choice of charity. -3 weeks vacation Strong company with stable balance sheet.

    Cons

Software is outdated and slow. If you mind working one weekend day this may be con, but with time you will get a better schedule. You will run into people that dislike Wells Fargo and have been in there position for a long time, this is due to there lack of motivation not lack of opportunity. Brokerage side of the business may be limited but the bank has many ops. Pay may not be as well though. -The only reason I... left was op to gain additional licenses, increase in pay, and gain experience in different part of the brokerage business that isn't available at Well Fargo; at least not in UT.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

PTO, free lunch, good work/life balance

    Cons

office politics, management, compensation, company says they care about your advancement with the "IDP" process but limit ability to apply for other positions if your team is short staffed or you haven't met a 1 year requirement in your current role. the company is big on your brand and if you say one wrong thing your brand is ruined.

    Advice to Management

the employees are people, not robots, and try to listen and understand instead of living inside a box that the company has outlined.
