I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility with hours, that is literally it.

    Cons

I feel the need to be completely honest here before another poor post grad kid with a masters in finance is sucked in to this place. It's a boring, data entry job. You are doing the same task over and over again, some are easier than others but overall you are doing the same one thing for 8 hours a day. Management is so beyond removed. You will have either a micromanaging fly for a manager or a completly checked out manager who knows how boring the work here is. There is no room for growth or skill development other than excel.
You can do literally a whole day without seeing anyone in your team, division, or department. You are busy for 2 weeks then have absolutely, literally, nothing to do for another 2 weeks.

    Advice to Management

Just relocate this job offshore honestly. You are hiring kids with MASTERS degrees and paying them diddly squat and they are performing data entry. This is not a real job for someone looking to have any sort of career.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great benefits
    Good culture
    Career oriented company

    Cons

    Poor middle management
    No incentive to stay
    Punished for networking internally

    Advice to Management

Take a better look at the people working in middle management, people should not be punished for looking to grow their career outside of their direct group. While the company as a whole provides and great advancement opportunities and encourages internal networking and movement this is not bought into at all levels and a poor manager can lead to very negative experiences.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Management listens. Good pay. Reasonable benefits. Casual dress makes for more relaxed atmosphere. Team environment centered around the corporate client.

    Cons

The work flows around the calendar. Almost nothing to do from the 26th of the month to the 10th of the next month. Then it all goes downhill and the 12-14-16-20 hour days kick in. Great if you like overtime and ulcers!

    Advice to Management

Figure out a way to staff up for the 18th-25th stretch of the month. You are killing people.
