I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great coworkers, good benefits and fair compensation. Flexible schedule.

    Cons

Drive to improve volume, quality, and accuracy all at the same time. It might be better to choose one as priority for improvement with a commitment to maintain in other areas. Fast market growth made it difficult to keep up with volume and manage risk well.

    Advice to Management

Choose a priority rather than more AND better AND faster all at the same time.

    Pros

Overall good company and benefits, they train employees for extensively. Promotional opportunities or slim. Many locations across the US makes it a little easier to transfer if you've been your position a year.

    Cons

Under paid. It almost benefits to be and external hire rather that be promoted within the company as the will offer you to lowest pay rate. Favoritism is very real with the "who you know " rather than the "what you know"

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive pay and good job security
CTS department always seems to be growing
Some of the brightest industry minds work here and you can really learn a lot

    Cons

    Long hours expected
A lot of inconsistencies from group to group
Not a lot of career development opportunities leading to a lot of turnover

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of recognizing & rewarding talent. Too many good analysts are leaving for better opportunities and the ones remaining seem to be the ones who struggle the most with their work.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good people, have had fantastic colleagues, some of which will be life long friends. Can't say enough about most of my co-workers

    Cons

Extremely limited ability to move upward, pay is well below going market rate for the area, position, and requisite skills required to preform the job correctly.

    Advice to Management

Do things that show that you care about your employees and their plight as opposed to giving meaningless lip service.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management is great. The opportunity to obtain new skills are abundant.

    Cons

Benefits are awful and the worst I've ever worked for. No referral bonuses, high deductible health plan, only 5k per year for learning and it has to be at a university(doesn't apply for paying for certifications).

    Advice to Management

Great management, so keep what you're doing. They actively seek what you want to do and they actively say what you need to do to reach the next level.
