I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

Good people to work with and good benefits are at the top of the list followed by work life balance. Work from your home is also allowed. Training opportunities are good to very good

        Cons

To much talent is wasted where individuals are limited to their silos. Poor management and far to much dependence on Indian and other offshore workers. To much software development is done by offshore workers. Very little direction from management but due to a “lead yourself “ practice. Far to much political correctness. Career advancement is difficult within your organization and only possible by applying for other...

        Advice to Management

Ditch the silos and the majority of the offshore workers and allow the people you have to use the talents they have that aren’t being used. Kill or heavily curb the political correctness. The company has the potential to be a great company to work for but to many things as I mentioned are holding it back. To many people I interact with are under utilized and not happy. Use their talents versus hire offshore labor...

        Pros

lots of work. Big office are.

        Cons

worked with ihub wholesale team,. Very biased work culture. Employees don't share information. Make you dependent. Color matters. Just tap water to drink.no coffee either. if you want get from home ..even water..

        Advice to Management

have a good environment for contractors to work. 4 contractors left in 4 months..even tried reaching management about this issue and escalated. looks like management doesn't care. at last i had to resign from my job and because of that i didn't get paid. wow. my contracting company Randstad didnt bother.. all this contracting companies do is earn money. Only reachable during interview..thats it.. done !!!

I worked at Wells Fargo for less than a year

        Pros

While the data analyst program did a great job of creating great relationships amongst the interns, some teams were amazing and others less so. The lack of diversity (both in culture and gender) on my team was disappointing. The work I did was fun for the first few weeks but grew dull quickly and felt as if it went completely unused. Other interns had a great time with cool and challenging projects, but a few of us...

        Advice to Management

It’s a bank- they’re great for what it is. It’s definitely not a cutting edge tech company.

I worked at Wells Fargo for more than a year

        Pros

The people who are working there know their stuff. The people I worked with in the Wealth Department each had at least 10 years of experience with their data and their business needs. My boss-boss Lynn Zelany had more than 30 years from teller all the way to head of the data side of the Wealth Department. Incredible experience when they can glance at the data and tell you what to do with it with so much clarity.

        Cons

None. I wish they were able to hire, but I hit a hiring freeze after the Wachovia merger.

        Advice to Management

        Hopefully, consider hiring consultants.
