I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Medical, dental(awesome), and vision benefits!

I worked in a slower paced branch in western MN. Small town atmosphere and awesome co-workers!
You can work your way up in the company quickly.

    Cons

Regional manger has big ego and thinks everyone should AlWAYS push sales. "It's changing life's!" Even after all the news with sales that apparently have gone away. They continued to constantly talk about the numbers and why the customer doesn't have this or that product. Micromanagement to the extreme! I highly suggest you think hard before applying!

    Advice to Management

Ha ha management is a huge joke with Brown Noser's below.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Their Eden Prairie Call Center was filled with plenty of nice, hardworking people. The managers were great too.

    Cons

    There was too much micro-managing.

    Advice to Management

No need to check-in with the reps 10 times a day.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company with good benefits. Lots of training. Good pay.

    Cons

Management cares a lot about numbers. They want you to open new accounts and up sell everyone.

    Advice to Management

Easier on employees to sell products. Not everyone that walks in the door wants to buy more.

    Pros

I really enjoy working here. It was a good experience and everyone I worked with was nice.

    Cons

If you are temporary you can only work for 18 months if you are not hired on. Rarely anyone gets hired on, they just get a new temp.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company provides excellent benefits, extensive training and overall the salary is competitive. If you do your job well you will be rewarded for it.

    Cons

It's a large company so its easy to be looked over. They focus HEAVILY on sales and most goals are unattainable.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with that were fun and outgoing with great personalities.

    Cons

(Now called Auto Finance) My computer was broken for 3 out of the 4 months that I worked at Wells Fargo. It didn't really take a precedence in fixing until about the 3rd month. Very high turn over rate. Call center environment. Management has very little care for employees, only wants them to reach goal and that's it. Promotion is based on who management likes best, not by performance.

    Advice to Management

Focus on employees staying so you don't have such a high turn over rate. Put a little more effort into caring - my computer shouldn't have been broken for 3 months before anyone decided to care.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, time off, and fun people to work with. Many opportunities to move to other departments if you know someone.

    Cons

No matter how hard you work, it never seems good enough. Numbers, numbers, numbers. Internal moves are tough unless you have network or contacts.

    Pros

Responsible corporate culture and caring of its employees.

    Cons

Company has too much corporate oversight

    Advice to Management

My current managers in the operations side are so much more relaxed than the ones at the retail side of Wells Fargo's business. Just keep chillaxing.
