    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

The company has a great reputation in the community and a very sustainable way to conduct business. Hierarchies are flat, and for the most part people are smart and very eager to share experiences and work as a team. Great sense of community. Benefits are competitive to generous, work-life balance is not just lip service but taken seriously.

    Cons

The pay ain't great - the company has a policy to keep pay as low as possible, not many chances for advancement and change. Large bureaucracy. Edison NJ location has been rumoured to be closing for many years now, just be aware.

    Advice to Management

Good job overall, but mind the details.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very committed to promoting from within. Can make good money if you negotiate coming through the door. Some depts have good culture.

    Cons

If you are easily frazzled by pressure, don't work here. If you cannot tolerate being asked to hit aggressive sales targets hourly, dont work here.

    Advice to Management

Make the sales goals more realistic and foster a better sense of collaboration

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits are decent and competitive.

    Cons

Management is very disrespectful to employees, making them stay late if they didn't hit sales numbers. Talk down to managers and employees. Pressure for sales has employees opening other accounts for themselves or multiple accounts for one client, therefore they aren't growing the business at all. Goals are unrealistic, I've been in this business a long time and have never seen anything like it. Leaving after 2 months with company. So many employees are unhappy and stressed out. They were once a great company but have become pushy sales all the time.

    Advice to Management

Think about quality rather than quantity in your sales goals...giving a small branch a goal of 2 quality checking a day rather than 6 junk accounts helps you more. Treat your employees better.
