I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good training, good hours, big company with many departments.

    Cons

High stress with customers, no too much space to grow in branch level.

    Advice to Management

Give more Human Resource training to branch managers, like conflict resolution and leadership.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

The benefit package is very good. Lots of options.

    Cons

If you have an issue "with boss", things move very slowly to get the issue resolved

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    No pros to speak of.

    Cons

Horrible Pay. Too many responsibilities. 3 million false accounts and 190 million dollar fines tells you all that you need to know.

    Advice to Management

Take some accountability. It was local branch managers who allowed and facilitated the millions of false accounts. Yet it was the local bankers who were punished. Everyone in management is a cheat and liar.

I worked at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The interview process was good, everyone was nice. Employees were great. The pay was good for me at the time. Easy work

    Cons

I enjoyed working with the company but overall didn't seem too diverse. Every branch had a majority of Spanish speaking employees. Seems like the only way to move up is to be bilingual.

    Cons

You have to meet your sales goals which is not an unreasonable expectation.. There is always training available.

    Advice to Management

    None, really.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Pay, company cares about its people. Very diverse company. Promotes with in. Quarterly bonuses. Flexible schedule.

    Cons

Company does have sales goals that I think are a little high. If you have a problem with an upper management, if you say something it can sometimes come back to haunt you.

Keep on hiring and developing young talent

  10. "Best technology, never got my disability benefits!"

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The technology is no doubt a cut above the rest. I have worked at another bank since leaving Wells, and they were so far behind the times. I really missed how fast the computer programs were and I LOVED the Panini (MICR reader).

    Cons

Some employees in the HR department, and ALL of the managers/district managers I worked for were SO unethical.

I had extreme medical complications due a muscle disease I have, so on doctor's orders I went on disability leave. I was on leave for 9 months - and NEVER GOT DISABILITY BENEFITS! I literally was bed ridden, and Wells Fargo (who's disability benefits are paid through Liberty Mutual) said I was not disabled! Even my own doctor appealed their denials TWICE, and they still did not pay me one cent of what I should have been paid. That finally led to my departure from the company.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your tellers. We may be the bottom of the totem pole - but we are the first (and sometimes only!) person the customer will interact with on their visit into the branch.

When you promise and employee disability benefits, please actually deliver on that promise. Being on disability is tough. Not being paid for close to a year when I have two kids and bills to pay does not make me a happy camper.
