I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good people work there from security to the cafeteria. Benefits are decent. Retirement is possible if you work on it. Secured Building. Career Development. Community & Culture Connections. Networking is huge plus. Lateral movement is encouraged.

    Cons

Negative Publicity. No department can stand alone so all suffer production at the same time at times. Constant change on how to run a department year in to year out. The number of loyal workers being displaced. Company policy prohibits active employees to give a quality reference for future employment.

    Advice to Management

Talk is talk & sounding the same as the next is not management skills. Action on your part is necessary to prove culture of caring exist in a team's environment. Management must lead by example for your team & should be a company standard. Some good will come from your team. If you don't like to participate, then you're not management material.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

None. My co workers were amazing.

    Cons

Horrible management, you are just a number, they do not care about the customers, money hungry, managers don't know the process but you will be punished for not doing it correctly, cross selling is number 1, horrible pay, rude arrogant managers. Once they get sued they fire a group of innocent employees who had nothing to do with the lawsuit. I will never work for this company again

    Advice to Management

Fire them all, bring in a whole new team.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Potlucks, training was fun and made it seem like they cared. They really do not care at all about you though.

    Cons

As soon as I left the training environment my job did a 180 flip. It went from "we care so much about you, you are the reason Wells Fargo thrives" to "shut up, do not give your input, take calls, don't even think of getting up" I have never been so micromanaged in my life. I was miserable. They have over 500 procedures that they expect you to have memorized in less than 2 months (mind you the procedures constantly change) not only that, but I couldn't even go to the bathroom. They have a system for tracking you in which if you even decide to breathe differently they know. I got pulled into my managers office because I took 2 unscheduled breaks less then five minutes each to go to the bathroom, in one week and they told me I was away from the phones to much. Are you kidding me?! They are all about quota and numbers. No wonder they had that scandal. They pressure you way to much.

    Advice to Management

Care some more about your employees. We are employees, not slaves.

I worked at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

they feed you a lot of junk food if that is something that you would appreciate. they also have a cafe on sit which is good

    Cons

although it is a customer service position, they are really looking to sell other bank products to the customers rather than fixing their issues

    Advice to Management

I would advise to think more of the customers and their issues rather than selling products that the customer isn't concerned about

I work for a department creating & enhancing technology projects. Reputable company, opportunities to learn, manage career within the company, decent pay, team member discounts.

    Cons

Slow in rolling out new version of software and time allocated for its training. No IM video conferencing or recordings.

    Advice to Management

Please provide online video training libraries, discounts in cafeteria, better annual pay increases, approve for ergonomic equipment and create better facilities to relax.
