I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My position as a CSR 2 with Wells Fargo was an absolute pleasure. The pay was based on performance so I received a hefty paycheck especially when the bonuses were given out. The flexibilty from the managers was a huge plus; they work with your home/work life balance to a "T".

    Cons

No Cons at all to date!

    Advice to Management

For those Managers who may not understand Work/Life balance it truly helps the performance and moral of the employee. The harder you make the day at work the worst your numbers may look ex: Attendance, At Work Performance!

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good (not great) benefits, lots of prizes and gifts for making/exceeding sales goals

    Cons

Sales goals...even though we were there to help people with their checking/savings accounts we had sales goals.

    Advice to Management

Rethink your entire structure. People are moving away from conventional banking.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

PTO, good benefits, encouraged to advance, hire within, large company, diverse environment, good infrastructure, systems and research materials. Volunteer activities.

    Cons

Sales over customer service. Despite 6 weeks training, not enough focus on learning how to service clients. Can't be expected to develop report with a customer if you don't know how to help them. Also not encouraged to transfer a customer to a supervisor, instead to de-escalate. This only angers the customer more.

    Advice to Management

Pay should be higher and incentive easier to obtain because it is a sales position. The referral process is more complex than offering a store credit card at cash register.
