I have been working at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

As of 2017, Wells Fargo has taken emphasis off sales by eliminating sales goals. Performance is now based off customer service entirely and evaluated at a branch level. Company does a good job ensuring they have the right people on board and that their team members are well trained and ready to assist. Advancement is entirely dependent on you. Wells Fargo has extensive training resources that you can access any time to learn more and advance your career if that's what you want.

    Cons

Somewhat compartmentalized and with new evaluation methods it is hard to quantify individual performance.

    Advice to Management

Bring back sales goals but as informal goals for team members to achieve for merit and not compensation. That would help evaluate team members without putting pressure on them.

    Pros

There are None that I can think of

    Cons

They are by far rmthe WORST company I worked for in 30 plus years. Back office was a disaster...8 months to close simple perfectly good refinance loans. Cost me $50,000 out of my savings as I kept losing customers. Management comments consisted of 'Just drink the Kool Aid'. They should be closed down!

    Advice to Management

Value your employees as without them you have no company! 5,000 people got fired bc you mistreat them and scare them to death. Wells Fargo is a perfect example of how NOT to run a company

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You move up the rank very fast

    Cons

More attention should be spent on retention of customers not solutions

    Advice to Management

Set the quota at a manageable reach so staff can build good morale

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A way to learn about sales

    Cons

The worst company culture. Wells Fargo is an evil company, and there is no simpler way to put it. The company is okay with high employee turnover, so they work you to death. Aside from the utterly unethical tactics, there are obscenely high sales quotas that are very difficult to achieve.

    Advice to Management

    Leave
